123 Memphis Tigers

Next up are just one of the newcomers to the American Athletic Conference, the Memphis Tigers. Memphis accepted a bid after wanting to get into a "major" conference with BCS ties for many seasons. They leave Conference USA after some not so good seasons in the recent past.

The Tigers have only won nine games since the 2009-2010 season, and the last time they made a bowl game was in 2008-2009 season when they won seven games.

The Tigers won four games last season, which was the most since 2008, all against conference foes.

They are returning some key members of their offense including: senior quarterback Jacob Karam, runningbacks Brandon Hayes, and Jai Steib, and wide receiver Keiwone Malone.

Jacob Karam was the starter all last season throwing for 1895 of the teams 1999 yards, 14 of the 16 touchdowns, and had a completion percentage of 64.

Runningbacks Brandon Hayes and Jai Steib split rushing duties combining for 1003 yards and 12 touchdowns while averaging about 4.3 yards per rush.

Wide-out Keiwone Malone was the number 2 receiver last year and caught, 476 yards and 3 touchdowns equaling the team lead in tds.

They are also returning 6 seniors on the defensive front.

This season's schedule does not seem to favor the Tigers.
