National Sports Entertainment News is a sports news show with debates and segments done by different people. This year it emphasized mainly on basketball and football. My friend and I did a segment on Major League Baseball Hall of Fame during the last episode. The show discusses local, collegiate, and professional level sports in all categories. We started this show because Middle Tennessee State University had not had a sports show in the last couple of semesters, and we wanted to attract more viewers. While I was writing for this show I learned a great deal about how to write correctly for broadcast as we as what it takes to work behind the scenes.

Episodes 1-4 I had the privelidge of editing, and writing, the majority of the scripts read. I was on air talent during episode two and I will be on air talent for the final episode which I am adding today. I have also done predictions for NCAA Football last season and Major League Baseball this season. I will be adding those predictions up shortly for everyone to see. I have also worked on the audio for MT10 News on the Middle Tennessee Campus.

Episode 5

These are some of the scripts I wrote out for the show in no specific order.

This story was about when Peyton Manning came around to Tennessee to visit with the Titans and ultimately made his decision to enter the Denver Broncos organization. I was complimented on the "lead line" by the main anchor which made this one of my best scripts.

This story is about the Miami Marlins and how all of the new attractions they have could possibly bring them better luck. Their old stadium was ranked one of the worst in Major League Baseball.

I found this story to be interesting when I heard it on ESPN and they were mentioning how this had never been done before and quite possibly could not be done again.

Since I am a big racing fan this one just seemed right up my alley because this driver helped test the new IZOD Indy Car Series prototype they use this season. He was also the defending Indianapolis 500 winner and was slated to take over Danica Patrick's ride for Andretti Autosport before his untimely and tragic passing.
